EBGames continues its campaign against gamers #2

They keep claiming to be the store for gamers and then...

...they sent out their Last Chance Black Friday Ad.

I clicked on the Dead Rising 3 image because I am keeping an eye on that one. I discuss my exact issues with their pricing practices after the break.

Dead Rising 3 for $29.99. Comes with Dead Rising 3 the game.
OR
Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition also for $29.99. Comes with Dead Rising 3 the game... and Dead Rising 3: Operation Broken Eagle DLC , and Dead Rising 3: Fallen Angel DLC , Dead Rising 3: Chaos Rising DLC , and Dead Rising 3: The Last Agent DLC.

It just seems to me that one of these version is slightly better value than the other. I would guess that some Sales Staff would point out the difference but I doubt all of them would. I would also guess that if you came to the cash with the normal version most staff would just ring you through and that if EBgames only had the standard version in stock they would not suggest that you go to another location for the Apocalypse Edition.

My fix for this would be to sell the standard Dead Rising 3 version for $5 (or $10) less. We all know that EBgames solution would be to reprice the Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition for more.

Still, right now, I wish they would have done something to differentiate the product.

Admittedly the Forza 5 special edition isn't that amazing but the other two games have significantly different versions for the same amount of money.

EBgames may not be trying to be duplicitous but from the AD on offer it is hard to tell and difficult to defend.
