You all know I have been waiting for this moment.

At level 30 I unlocked the Simple Pistol. And it was good. But something was lacking. Not enough oomph!

At level 35 Ark: Survival Evolved gave me the solution to this problem.

The Shotgun for a mere 18 engram points. LEARNED

Then I went back in and unlocked Simple Shotgun Ammo for some reason. Also, not being an unreasonable tribe mate, I also unlocked the Longshot Rifle and Simple Rifle Ammo. This I made and gifted to Coxxorz because he is more of a sniper than I am.

Immediately after this I accidentally put all of our ammo resources into Rifle Ammo and had to spend some time collecting more resources to make some Shotgun Ammo.

Coxxorz took his longshot and went Sarco hunting. He really hates those things. I tested the Shotgun on the first creature I found other than Coxxorz.

That Dodo never saw it coming.
