EBGames failed me yet again

To no one's surprise EBGames did not have my pre-order

I am starting to bond more with the no pre-order campaign

This is technically different as they just don't have any copies of the Collector's Edition of Zombie Army 4: Dead War (at least in Ottawa). They did have many copies of the regular edition but as I don't need two copies of the game I am just waiting for my Collector's Edition to eventually show up. Hopefully.

Yes, this does mean everyone else can play it on release day without me. Once again on the outside looking in. My self-esteem is just fine thank you. ...sob...

After an extensive search by the EBGames associate, and several phone calls, he discovered that the EBGames warehouse had not received any Zombie Army 4: Dead War Collector's Editions from the publisher. Which means Rebellion as I am pretty sure they self publish everything although no idea how their Canadian Distribution works.

And let me be clear, I don't care how Rebellion's Canadian Distribution works. All I care about is it didn't work in this case and I (and other buyers) have been left with out a copy of Zombie Army 4: Dead War on its release day.

And don't think EBGames is not at fault. As they ship everything out in advance they knew this was happening. They knew they were missing their ship date for the Collector's Edition and they didn't bother to let any purchasers know.

While I am sure I would still have been angry about the delay, I am sure I would have been less angry than I was finding out after driving to the Store! (I ordered my copy as Pick Up @ Store)

I appreciate the time the EBGames associate put in to discovering what happened but none of his effort made up for EBGames not having my pre-order.

And we all know how much compensation EBGames is going to offer for this fiasco... Yes, none was the correct answer.

No Zombie Shark, no game, no compensation... And worse, no idea of when I will see my game because EBGames has no estimated ETA and no idea where the Zombie Army 4: Dead War Collector's Editions are.
