Xbox 360 wireless steering wheel on sale

This may have nothing to do with the fact that several of us recently acquired Dirt 2... but since I'm convinced they're watching us, let's just say The Man must be feeling bad for us not getting Borderlands.

Future Shop and Best Buy are both currently selling the Microsoft Wireless Racing Wheel V2 for $20 off, bringing the price down to a tempting $79.99. This is a good deal in case you get hit by the MS Empty Box scam. For those of you who are wondering, this is NOT the version that requires the mystery "retrofit", or sets your lap on fire (note the "V2").

This deal appeals to me in particular, having bought steering wheel addons for all the various gaming systems I've owned over the years, plus 2 for the computer. In almost every single case, the gadget was used for two days, fell out of favour for one reason or another, got bundled up in its original bulky packaging, and tossed into the Steering Wheel Graveyard in the basement. But this time, however, I think it will be different.

The wireless racing wheel includes pedals (obviously), force feedback (kind of), and remains on sale until October 29, 2009 at both stores.
