Classic moments in HoC video gaming
Well... no... not really
So last night we had our weekly Sega Nite. I know most of you have no idea what I am talking about but anyway.
This week's game was Left 4 Dead 2 and the second chapter is called "Dark Carnival."
One section of the map is the midway. We were busy fighting Zombie hordes around a collection of rides, tents, and booths. Pretty standard fare. It was the usual HoC suspects: myself, Coxxorz, Graybush and Stormblade. And we were doing okay. At the Zombie killing that is. At the cooperative gaming? Not so much.
We finished a mini zombie horde around a large white and yellow circus tent and realized we had become separated. I could see Stormblade's name and character outline just around the corner of the tent. So I ran after him.
Simultaneously, Stormblade realized it was time to gather as a group and started running after Coxxorz who was just around the corner of the tent. Coxxorz decided to run after Graybush and Graybush was looking for me, "Hey Blackwalt. Wait up." Anyone see where this is going? We didn't.
We had our own Herd of Cats Amusement Park Ride right there in the middle of the Carnival as all four of us chased our tails around the tent trying to catch up with each other. You won't catch us doing laps that often but we did them here.
I won't say how many times I ran around that tent before we figured it out but it was more than one... and probably more than two... and... well. Enough.
Zombie bait. Times four.
