Mass Effect has been weighing on me

I know Mass Effect is an RPG and that I don't normally play RPGs.

But this one is weighing on me. It's reviewing well (very). Its SciFi based story is extremely well written and everywhere I turn its being written of or spoke of.

I had such an interest that I bought the prequel novel (Don't panic – it was used. Note: Q-Bert, look for something extra in your stocking this year as you enjoyed the Halo novel so much) and read it. It wasn't horrible and did explain the universe that Mass Effect is set in. There was a section where I wanted to continue reading which is a relatively good reflection of the novel despite the rest of the book being fairly weak.

You all know how I came upon my copy so the least I could do is play it.

Someday, someday that shrink wrap will come off and I can stop staring at that DO NOT SELL UNTIL 11/20/2007.
