The story of one man's Xbox 360 - Day 5 continued

By One Mans Xbox 360 - Posted on 08 May 2009

I'm back baby!

I broke on Friday, I returned on Friday.

One week total down time. 5 business days. That's pretty fast. Much better than my last breakdown – one month (four weeks and 3 days). Seems that Microsoft is a little more organized now. Almost like they are expecting Xbox 360s to break. Almost.

It's been one week since you looked at me
Cocked your head to the side and said I'm angry.
Seven days since you laughed at me
Saying get that together come back and see me.
Seven days since the living room
I realized its all my fault, but couldn't tell you

Things are heating up

North York!!! Woo hoo!!!

Made it.

And I met some guy named Mike. Seemed a little bored and his hand was cramping up. I think it was due to all the boxed he was signing for. Hey, they all look just like my coffin.

I caught the Red-Eye

Ciao Suckers! Couldn't wait to get out of Ottawa, now I've hit the big city! T.O. baby! This is where it's at!

I'm now cruising around Toronto trying to score some chick consoles! Not working out so well from inside this damn COFFIN. Trying to convince the driver to swing by the Rogers Center to catch a Blue Jay's game. He's not buying, don't think he's a Jay's fan.

And the journey continues...

The MS graphic hasn't updated yet but I am on my way.

And the journey begins...

Woo hoo! My coffin arrived! Wait, why am I so happy about that?

So now here I am, sitting on another shelf, this one at security. Waiting. In the Dark. For Purolator to come and get me. And take me to North York. Now that's my kind of town.

North York or bust! Ok, fine, be that way. North York or more bust!

Waiting is the hardest part...

Made it into the office. Waiting on a shelf until the coffin arrives. Ick! Morbid name, not happy about that.

Discovered that two of my HoC Elite kindred went before me, not just the one.

Bored. Still stuck on Step 1.

Step 1: MS called and coffin is on its way.

Again

While this may not have been clear in Coxxorz's original photo. This RRODed console is an Xbox 360 Elite. You remember? The first Xbox 360 console redesigned to not have the RROD problem.

Just catching up...

This, of course, is the second HoC Xbox 360 Elite to RROD. Graybush went first.

Anyway...

Step 1: MS called and coffin is on its way.
