Well it has begun
And Revek has agreed to be my handler tomorrow.
He has no idea what he's getting into.

So I'm taking stock of my comic book collection, I'm on box 8 of 16, and came across this gem.

Deadpool First Appearance. Now worth over $500 US, all because of the movie.

WooHoo!

For a few years now, Prof3ssorM and I have been collecting Nerf paraphernalia. A piece here, a piece there. Mainly to inflict foam hell on each other and, as often as possible, on Graybush and his brood. At Christmas, Prof3ssorM asked me if we could transform his closet into a Nerf storage facility. I looked around at options and finally decided that IKEA had the least expensive and most effective solution.

What I did not realize, until I was done, was that we had SO MUCH STUFF! I thought I had picked up enough bars and hooks to allow for the collection to grow but apparently I cannot estimate. There was still too much stuff when I was done. I will have to look into what other types of racks I could put in there to hold more stuff.

If this makes me a bad parent, I blame Graybush. He started it.

So, I know this isn't strictly a video games post, but neither is a chunk of wood and I need some support. Not, "pick me up, I'm down again, where the F is the medic?!" kind of support, but some online voting help.

Telus has a grant program in BC/Alberta called Storyhive. They award grants for music videos, short stories and web series. I've wanted to produce a show about Fort McMurray for some time and since I'm unemployed and can't get EI for another 3 months, I've thrown my hat into the ring.

I will start with what I didn't like.

Lex Luthor
Disclaimer: I know nothing of the character other than what he was like in Injustice.
Anyway....
I always thought Lex was supposed to be an uber intelligent, well presented man.

In this he seemed like a spoiled Coked out teenager.
There were actual times when I thought he would be a good joker or even a riddler... But his character was uber annoying....

As much as I love Batman.... But...

Der Elsendrache

This map is pretty cool. It also pretty big. There are lots of cool things to do on it, but I won't spoil the fun for anyone who wants to discover all the easter eggs missions you can do. There are a few.

I'll admit I watched some YouTube videos of someone playing the map on PS4 a couple weeks ago. It's a lot more fun, IMO, than Shadows of Evil.

Seems Legit

So as some of you know, I produced a short Star Wars fan film. It's actually a trailer for the full length movie I've written, but I don't think I'll ever have enough $$$ to make it.

Anyway, I just released it this week. Have a watch and let me know what you think.
