Why bother? I didn't like the original anyway.
but I just can't come to terms with the Cylons being hot blondes as opposed to large chunks of heavy metal with a single shifting LED as an eye. Probably the reason I could never get into this new version.
Oh yeah, and Starbuck is a girl. WTF is up with that??
This one falls in the same pile as other remake shows that feel compelled to change key elements for the sake of change: Knight Rider now drives a Mustang... Jamie Sommers has nanites.... Starbuck is now a chick? I'm out.
1) would rather watch a bunch of guys run around in robot costumes than watch a hot chick in skimpy outfits
2) hmmm let's see here you would rather look at Dirk Benedict rather than Katee Sackhoff.
Wow never thought I would say this but I think Stormblade is jumping on the same boat as Revek.
It just isn't Battlestar Galactica. Yes the original was campy, but it was ours!
My childhood doesn't forgive them.
Revek is too young, otherwise he would have Dirk Benedict Posters on his wall ... next to his William Shatner and Harrison Ford ones ...
Actually I remember watching the original and I am younger than revek. (Quite a bit younger actually).
