Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Because all you need is a suit, a tie and a ID badge. An ID badge just like the one above. Now there are a couple of ways to do this.
-
The easy way: Go to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. com and click on "Get your ID badge." To be fair they do a pretty good job.
The Herd of Cats way: While they do a good job, they don't match their own previously released copies of the TV Series badges. Which seemed weird so I fixed it myself. The top image is created by me, basically from scratch and matches the shows badges more accurately. (if you go to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. site and click on "Meet the Agents: you can find the Agents original ID Badges). I also have one with my name and photo, not just my avatars. See more after the jump.
The ID badge at the top of the story was made by me and matches the below Agent Coulson badge:
This next image was created using the "Get your ID badge." option:
For this one from the web site the text under the barcode was dropped, the first name went to all caps and instead of hair color and height they now have eye color. I thought that was weird which is why I created my own.
Now if you wanted a quick Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. costume you could create an ID badge from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. site or (and its a relatively normal sized or) email me a ID photo, preferred name and preferred title. The recommended titles are: Field Officer, Specialist. Administrator, BioChemist, Engineer and Tech Expert but I am not picky. I will put them into a PDF and email it back to you. Yes you have to print it yourself. I know! The gall.
We had hoped to do a Flash based version where you could type in your own information but apparently we need specific PHP code running on the server to support adding images and Coxxorz and I are afraid of awakening Smaug the Webmaster...
Here is the blank version of the ID Badge:
Now I have to go, Agent Coulson needs me in the command center.

His PC is not working. Tell him he needs to try turning it off and on again.
"Try turning it on then off again."
Less time on the phone that way.
