The State of Education in NA
I was watching Hell's Kitchen tonight, (yes, I do watch some reality shows), and tonight, the men's team lost the challenge. A very difficult challenge you see. A kids menu. So burgers, pasta, chicken wings and so on. As is tradition, the loosing team nominates two people for selection of the person to be eliminated. Two people get selected, but chef Ramsey feels that there is one person missing who should be up for elimination as well, and without calling him by name, told the person to join the other two.
As is tradition, the three people where given the oportunity to pleed their case. At the end of all of this, we get this wonderful quote, which is what prompted me to post this story here, as I am sure I am going to get roasted for admitting that I watch Hell's Kitchen, but this quote had to be shared with everybody, and is well worth the razing.
Candidate #1 "I'm just gonna keep giving you 100% chef. Every day.
Candidate #2 "I'll give you 125% chef."
Candidate #3 "I don't know percentages... but... just.. over that"

but with so many opportunities to roast you on a regular basis, this one is kind of benign.
Now I'm not a reality show watcher and I didn't see this show, but the fact that the chef disregarded the predetermined rules killed what little credibility this show had.
The other thing that's funny is that #3 (presumably fighting to stay in the running) not only is useless at math, but chose to outdo his opponent by "just over" his amount. Not a lot more. If you're gonna do pretend math on television, go big or go home!
