It's Here!!!! (for real this time)
Bad news: A day late. Good news: Headset came 10 days early (based on what EBGames said was the release date). Bad news: No analog audio option at all. Good news: Headset came with a standard headphone jack input to the controller connector, which means I can plug into my computer speakers through it. Bad news: CoD AW download is going slower than molasses.
My first impression of the XBox One interface is that it sucks. Perhaps I just have to get used to it. Still, it really seems to suck.
Also, the games are HUGE! Gonna have to monitor my bandwidth usage if I plan to buy games online ...

Why is the XBone version of the headset $20 more than the PS4 one?
Also, I'm not seeing Surround Sound mentioned in the specs for those things...
No idea why the XBone version costs more. Perhaps it's because it needs the controller adapter. I don't know anything about the PS4 so I can't be sure.
I don't see anything about surround sound mentioned either, but the sound is very good and it seems to me that I can tell when voices are behind or in front of me. Again, I have never owned a headset that said it had surround sound, so I can't give an informed opinion.
We just have to give up on the bluetooth wireless chat and use a Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter.
The adapter does cost $30 however and needs a Straight Talkback Cable. Hopefully you can find it, I have seen mine recently.
