It was Call of Duty (Modern Warfare) that brought us together and it is Call of Duty (Advanced Warfare) that is tearing us apart.
Temporarily. This past Sega Nite seemed more divisive than normal with the console generation gap splitting up what is already a sparse turn out.

If it makes you feel any better, I've been thinking about returning my Xbox One ever since I first turned it on.
Absolutely HATE it. That windows 8 inspired interface is the worst.
So that and the fact that COD:AW is having massive issues on the Xbone...not the best gaming experience right after you drop $500.

For the life of me, I can't get COD to recognize my NAT as open. The Xbone says my NAT is open, COD says it's Moderate. I've put my Xbone in DMZ, turned on/off uPNP, opened up a dozen different ports and even...for 15 minutes..turned off my firewall and all privacy options. NOPE. COD still says my NAT is moderate. It's a COD issue, I'm sure of it. No issues with the console, or AC, or netflix, etc.
I've never thought more about abandoning console gaming as I have the past couple months :\
I had no idea it was so bad, that's a real eye opener.
Although I don't put much stock in the whole "NAT" thing as far as CoD is concerned. I've seen mine fluctuate without ever touching a single setting. I suspect they are using it more as a general indicator of network latency.
I find it funny how some developers have been able to make responsive, virtually lag-free games for years, while others have apparently given up and simply mask the problem. Just look at how rarely you and an enemy kill each other simultaneously in other games, and compare that to how many times a day it happens in Destiny. And that's everything from melee to sniping. Ridiculous.
