Just found out our daily lifestyle is called "quarantine"

Guess I'm stuck with what I have for now.
I just bought an xbox one. Don't like the Cod paint job and I couldn't get the Sunset Drive White unit...so I bought the AC bundle. Came with Black Flag and Unity as digital downloads.
So far, I've been hating my xbox one. The interface is non-intuitive and it locks up sometimes. Stay on even when I power it off, etc etc.
Anyway, I loved AC3. Brotherhood was good, just not as good. AC 2 was also good.
I played Black Flag first as I had to wait until the 11th anyway. I like it, but it doesn't feel as good as earlier versions. I mean, the pirate angle is cool, but some of the game mechanics are disappointing. I've only played BF for 6 hours so far, so my mind isn't made up yet. I still am enjoying the game, the story and the action.
So far, Unity is nothing like these earlier games. I've never really gotten into the UPlay thing they push, but it's never been distracting. In unity. there is so much out-of-game(OOG) purchasing, it's ridiculous. There are chests you can only open with OOG content. The basic storyline can be done without purchasing anything extra, but it's not only harder, but less enjoyable as all the "cool shit" really is reliant on them. You also have to register/link your play account with a new system, which launched IE on the xboxone and, for me at least, locks up my machine. I just want to play the game I paid for, leave all this crap out. It ruins the experience :\
As for the gameplay itself, I'm not enjoying the game at all. One thing I've always loved about AC is the huge expansive maps you can spend hour exploring. Doing side quests and collecting feathers/gems/artifacts/etc. Unity kills this by assigning difficulty ratings by area, not by adversary. So the same, lame blue coat guard you can fight in a zone 1, kills you with one strike in a zone 5. I have managed to explore some of these areas, but it's really vital that you avoid contact. Kinda kills the whole point for me.
I don't hate Unity, but I find it nowhere near as good as previous AC titles. I find myself bored and wanting to go back to BF, which I think I will.
So don't be in such a rush to get Unity, you might be disappointed.
This pretty much nails it: http://ca.ign.com/blogs/jdavisign/2014/11/11/8-real-things-i-experienced...

What the hell are you talking about ?? Do a proper review. Explain yourself.
Nevermind, I'll just ask Zero Punctuation.
How can I put this to make it clearer.
They have implemented micro-transactions for purchasing items in game. Items such as boots that make you walk or run faster. They are using an in came currency for which you spend real world money. They have different packages ranging from $9.99 to $99.99 of real world money for in-game currency.
LIKE ANY OTHER GAME THAT IMPLEMENTS MICRO TRANSACTIONS!
[edit] HERE. Fro the Lazy.
You don't know what you are missing. It is the absolute best one of the series. The graphics are absolutely stunning, the controls are absolutely the smoothest they have ever been, the voice acting is absolutely totally immersive, I absolutely actually positively believe I am there! (I have use the word absolutely enough yet? Has your brain exploded)
In all seriousness, if I had known that they implemented what looks like the most expensive micro-transaction implementation to date, and in an "A" list title that already sells for $69.99. I think I would have passed. Not only that, but the PC version sells for the same price! Civ 5 did the same thing. PC prices are not on par with console prices for A-List titles. There used to be a $10 difference between the two to account for the higher licensing fees they had to pay for consoles, but no more.
