Though this con was a severe waste of time but I got to hang out with friends etc.
I threw together two costumes. Bane from Arkham Origins. And (click the link) :)
Though unfortunately Barney had a broken helmet and I wasn't going to fix it for free...
Anyway that led me to create the Bane costume which took me all of 30 minutes to make the mask.

By "fix it free", does that mean you rented the Barney suit?

No... I didn't rent it.
But was going to. I even offered to buy it for $50.
The rental was $50. I made them two offers. I will fix it for you and get a free rental OR I will buy it off you for $50.
They said no to both... so I walked away.
