You are hereNo reason to post this really...
No reason to post this really...
...but if you happen to be bored on Saturday
So yesterday I was dispatched by Guba to pickup one of these Adventure Playsets Trail Blazer Swing Set. Fortunately, Coxxorz *cough* volunteered *cough* to go with me and help me to load it into the CRV.
The instructions and recommendation claim that it is not a fast setup and recommend more than one person.
While I have no concerns about assembling this on my own I figure that many hands will make fast work.
So if it isn't raining tomorrow and you happen to be driving by my area with your power tools (screwdrivers/drill as everything is supposed to be pre-cut and pre-drilled) be sure to stop by the house. One person to read the instructions while at least two others ignore him/her is pretty much what I am looking for.
We're out of beer and pop but I could probably fix that before tomorrow.
And remember that we are trying to build a swing set and not:
Also its important that we save some energy and patience for when we build this:
Speaking of which. MoriceRevek! I will need to borrow your compressor and pneumatic hammer in the near future. Hope this isn't a problem.

It is not a problem. If I can find them. I know the compressor is int he garage, but the nail gun, I have to look for it.
Did it get built? Did it fall down? Was anyone mocked and abused?

I will not be driving past any places in Ottawa tomorrow. Luckily for you I mean.
I am however going to Ikea tomorrow, so I will likely have some spare parts by Monday, if you need some.
But I doubt there's enough wood or beer available to make it happen.
... with someone who can build...
With someone who can fetch coffee, coke, and hold the occasional piece where I (very clearly) tell you to.
All the while discoursing with half-pint about quasilinear packet encryption filtering.
Half-pint's so enjoyed your last discourse.
... Revek's timing.
Bastard.
...
He's in the Bahamas for the next week.
BUT I feel much better now:
He called me to tell me that his luggage is in Vancouver. Westjet seems to think that cargo heading for the BAHAMAS should do a stop-over in HAWAII...
Ask him if there is anything good in his luggage I can go grab. :) Like his sweet camera. :)
That with the type of help you're likely to end up with, you're better off getting Half-Pint to help.
I would also pick Half-pint over you.
