A schism in the way

The Way of Zombie Mode

Briefly, for one shining moment, all seemed right with the HoC Way of Zombie Mode. Last night, on an legitimate HoC Sega Nite four HoC players had gathered for four player Zombies. We started in Black Ops until the servers failed us and we had to return to World at War.

Der Riese. It was perfection - an almost idyllic moment. And then... a schism in the way.

Early in the game just about to get hit by Hell Hounds we realized we had enough money to make it to the next stage - the shotgun room. I opened the first door and ran to the second. Graybush, Coxxorz and I waited next to the second door. If any of us opened it we wouldn't have enough money to buy shot guns. SeanMCR was moneybags. The congregation cried out, "SeanMCR, open the way!"

This is the point in time where SeanMCR disappeared to us. He no longer exists in the Eyes of the HoC Zombie Way.

Eventually, seconds before being over run by zombies Graybush opened the door. Coxxorz and Blackwalt ran for the shot guns and started holding back the wave, covering Graybush until he earned enough money for his own. We held off the round of Hell Hounds and started setting up for the next round of zombies.

Blackwalt, Coxxorz, Graybush: "Why is the back door open?"

Blackwalt, Coxxorz, Graybush: "How is the power on already?"

Blackwalt, Coxxorz, Graybush: "Where is SeanMCR?"

SeanMCR responded, "I'm at the Catwalk, why aren't you here?"

Blackwalt, Coxxorz, Graybush:"How are you at the catwalk already?"

SeanMCR: "You told me to!"

Blackwalt, Coxxorz, Graybush:"No we didn't!"

SeanMCR: "You said to open the way!"

Blackwalt, Coxxorz, Graybush: "That's not the way!"

We aren't sure when SeanMCR turned his back on the Way. On the one, true Way. But it became apparent that he had turned away from the Way. That he had forgotten his path.

With this Schism in the HoC Way of Zombie Mode SeanMCR has chosen to follow his own path, to open his own Way. Separate from the HoC Way, opening his own congregation in Fort McMurray and looking for believers in the False Way. For heretics. Unbelievers.

I believe it was Coxxorz that threatened a Jihad. An extreme response perhaps but one appropriate to a disbeliever in the HoC Zombie Way.

SeanMCR has been excommunicated from the HoC Way of Zombie Mode. He no longer exists in the Eyes of the HoC Way.



At least until the next time we need a fourth for Zombie Mode ...
