Finally updated my Xbox 360 front

By Blackwalt - Posted on 03 May 2008

I use a Nyko Gameface 360 to personalize my Xbox 360. And it works pretty well although I don't use any of their software to create my faceplates.

Here is the new one:

You'll have to guess what game its themed after.

It replaces my longest running faceplate since I got the Gameface 360, Let's make sure this time...

Which I will miss, but will keep it for later, nostalgic, use.

These obviously look different once they are installed as shown in this example:

And just to fill space a flash back to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance theme faceplate I made a few months ago.

Coxxorz and Stormblade already own Nyko Gameface 360s but if you are looking to pick one up or the cardboard cutout refills check out you local Blockbuster who not only seem to carry them in stock but have them on sale often.

I am pretty much set with the 'Let's make sure ...' one for the foreseeable future. I probably wouldn't switch to GTA IV anyway, since like the game less than I liked Halo 3, and that's saying something.

Now a COD4 one might be interesting.

Out colour printer can not print 11x14 paper which is required for the templates.

So, unfortunately, I have to use the high end colour printer at the office.

Its tough but one does what one has to.

I haven't come up with a good COD4 concept although I did try.

If you're planning on buying one from Blockbuster Video (to use up your R6V2 trade credit, etc.), you better go now. They're being cleared out for $8 a kit (reg. $19.99) and disappearing fast. Refill packs of 20 sheets are down to $2 and even harder to find (although I found an empty box of refills for full price at the South Keys store - go figure).
