You are hereSeanMCR, "Let's play Der Riese!"
SeanMCR, "Let's play Der Riese!"
So I got a message from SeanMCR that made me happy. But then I was sad.
Last night I received an email from SeanMCR. I did need to run the Moricerevek anti-dyslexia filter to understand it properly but apparently it was an invite to play Call of Duty Zombies: Der Riese...
Email from SeanMCR:
Der Reise
Der reise? Da Reese? Whatever...Graybush's in..in half hour.
You two?
I gather he wanted to play Der Riese. Which made me happy. This was why all the invites on my Xbox One made me confused. Then my Xbox One asked me if I owned the disc for Call of Duty Ghosts and if I did I should insert it now.
Arguing with the Xbox One that I really wanted to insert Call of Duty Black Ops turned out to be pointless. Ghosts it was. So we played Call of Duty Ghosts: Extinction Awakening which we had apparently forgotten how to play.
We had control issues. We set off rhinos all over the place. We forgot the order of obelisks. SeanMCR was the wrong character class.
We persevered and somehow completed (successfully) our mission and returned the charged Cortex to the landing zone with an all team members survived message.
It was a good night playing Call of Duty Ghosts: Extinction Awakening.
Yet... I was sad.
Because I had been promised Der Riese and Awakening was no Der Riese.

I received a cryptic text from Graybush lamenting the fact I no longer have an XBox 360 in Ottawa.
For the record, I am keeping an eye out for a cheap 360.
IF you can find it.
Which may be why they still have four of them.
They were marked clearance at $150 however.
I haven't seen one anywhere near that price. I may have to take a run over there tomorrow.
I'm afraid I don't have your zeal for bargains. I'll go check the local one though. Thanks for the info.
If you had been online at the prescribed time and hosted, we would have played Da Reast.
Graybush and I have a rather poor MS connection. We need that this party to be the intermediary. Hence, Exctinction.
