Bioshock to be made into a movie

Please don't let it be Uwe. Please don't let it be Uwe. Please don't let it be Uwe.

Reuters reports that Pirates of the Caribean Gore Verbinski (Yay! It's not Uwe!)will be adapting Bioschock to the big screen.

This means that the movie now has a chance of being good! And if he does a good job, maybe we can start another petition that he gets first crack at any movie adaptation of our favorite games.

While writting this, I had an inspiration. Since Uwe makes really bad movie adaptation of good mvies, what would happen if he started doing adaptation of really bad vieo games. Do you think that the 2 bads could cancel each other out, and a good movie could come out of it?

"Coming out in theathers for the 2010 Summer season! From famed director Uwe Boll! Get ready for som heart stopping action! It's Paintball Extreme!"

He just finished Postal which is pretty much the definition of a bad game. After Daikatana that is... as if anyone bought that.

Daikatana or Postal? Not that I bought either of them. Nope. No way. Not in my library. Neither was Battle Crusier 3000 AD.

Well, Mortal Kombat wasn't too bad....but it still wasn't very good.

And it should be noted that Gore Verbinski directed Pirates of the Caribbean 3.

I'll beat Stormblade to the punch and recommend he starts with GTA...
