Being gay is fine, having there word "gay" in your gamertag, not so much.
- I talked to a supervisor there, Roxy, who told me that she didn’t personally find the fact that my gamer tag had gay in the name offensive, but that the greater Xbox community did, so i would have to change it.

Especially if you are a woman, because then you have to do everything that you can to cover that fact. How many women do you hear using a mic on games like GTA4, COD4, etc?
And swearing and general harrasement by 14 year olds in an almost completely unregulated medium (voice chat) simply might turn people off from playing games.
I wish. The most annoying people by far are the pre-teen Squeakers, who feel the need to sing to everyone in their shrill pre-pubescent voices, and haven't gotten all those shiny new words out of their system yet.
KKK as a clan tag is perfectly acceptable as well.
