HoC Random Black Ops 3 Glitch of the Day - 12102015

In our attempts at "the Giant" SeanMCR and Stormblade have come up with the plan of always buying the KN-44 off the wall.
"Then you can always buy ammo."
Which made sense. Until last night. Stormblade hit a point where he could no longer buy ammo off the wall. It just wouldn't give him anything. This is video of the second time where it made the purchase noise and took his money but gave him no ammo.(updated).
This also happened the first time, taking his $4500 and gaving him no ammo. We have no video of this but we all saw his money go down and just managed to survive him having no ammo.
It did reset after he replaced the KN-44 with another gun ($950 from the Tickle Trunk) and the upgraded it again ($5000).
It is an expensive plan.

It DID take the money, but gave me no ammo. I lost $9000, doing it twice just to be sure. Then just getting it back cost $950 to replace it from the tickle trunk, $1400 to buy it again from the wall, $5000 to pack-a-punch it, and another $2000 to pack-a-punch again to get the added ability.
I did some Googling this morning to see if anyone else had this issue, but it appears to have been a glitch, not a game feature.
Grrr.
Was watching the wrong color on the video.
