Still Running Day 2 - 6
So after breaking free of the Mad Scientists it appeared that I need to get as far away from the scene as I could. With sketchy plans I head out.
With a little less security then at the Airport, training seemed to be the way to go. At 9am I hopped in a front car of a train in Toronto. It sped out of Toronto at a lightening fast clip of up to 30 km/h (at times we were going backwards). At the 3 hour mark Lake Simcoe passed and we finally started to go the same speed as the cars. All through this time I noticed several hundred people following me (perhaps it was the train tracks, or perhaps the scientists were still following).
With little sleep on the train several zombie like creatures could often be seen in the Observation car. (Who knew zombies liked scenic lakes and trees, lots of lakes and even more trees... did I mention the trees?)
Late Day 3 - Arrival in Winnipeg and there were still several hundred people following me as I departed the train. As for excitement in Winnipeg, well I quickly left Winnipeg and started out west. I've shaken everyone tailing me except for 2 very 'senior' agents. Later I would discover their identities .... Agents M and P.
Day 4 - After a good nights sleep in Portage la prairie, I realized some research was required, I need to find out more about my past to figure out why the Mad Scientists were after me. A long a confusing drive through rolling southern Manitoba located 2 sets of relatives. A 20ft Turtle in Boisivan cause me to wonder if someone had decided to also build a turtle. With minds of relatives now purged I ended up in a little town called Miniota (find that on a map with googling) in a little hotel where the shining could have been filmed.
Day 5 - The adventure continues, still heading west my tails..agents Ma and Pa are still with me even the SHINING didn't shake them. Heading around the Quill Lake area in Saskatchewan (home town of Bernie Federko (I think the handle of BlackBernie would have been funnier)) found a Douglas Homestead, worth a tour only if your name happens to be Douglas. The yellowhead route took us to Battleford for the evening where the previous nights occupant of the room had committed murder (ok car theft, it was at least a felony). Internet access is cut off
Day 6 - Only wanting to stay in Saskatchewan (hard to spell easy to draw) one night I head west again. Leaving Saskatchewan at Lloydminster. (I now have a goal an egg hunt) About an hour into Alberta I find a 30ft easter egg.
Arriving in Edmonton on crosses Wayne Gretzky way (turn to the right and see Jari Kuri Ave, and behind you is Fuhr Blvd). Almost was able to shake my tails at the West Edmonton Mall swarms of back to school shoppers packed the mall. (not to mention the amusement park, casino, ice hockey rink and wave park)
....tomorrow the mountains.
