That was the biggest let down :\
I know it was a beta...but man o man. Facial animations that make Bethesda games look realistic, Automotive dynamics from Need for Speed II, the WORST aviation controls I've ever used and motorbike controls from 98's Motorcross Madness.
Gorgeous looking game, but like GTA quests...you need to travel MILES across the map to get to quests, and the roads are being patrolled by various bad guys.
HUGE immersive world = you'll be spending most of your time running TO your missions. It's fine at first, boring after the first 5 hours.
Nice gun controls & options...about a bazillion guns and mods to "unlock" (i smell massive DLC grab)

I have imported my Xbox Live friends and then added SeanMCR, Graybush and Coxxorz into my Ubisoft Friends list.
They are pending.
I think you need to accept the friendship request inside UPlay (on a web browser) before I can send an invite.
Not complicated at all.
TL;DR- can only invite Uplay friends. Accept Uplay invite.
Uplay/Ubisoft app on the xbox and on uplay.com don't show any option for friends.
I had to download a PC app to be able to see a friends list (and your invite) which I accepted.
Much more complicated that it should be...and I'm still not actually playing the beta
