A Conversation With My Nepheu
I am in Montreal this weekend for my sisters B-day and Father's day, and today I was driving around with my sister and my nepheu doing some shopping. While travelling to one of the stores, we had the following conversation.
[me] Geez it's hot today. And it's not even summer.
[sister] What are you talking about? It is summer. No wait.
[me] It's not June 22nd yet.
[sister] You'r right. And it's already very hot and humid.
[me] yup. In another week, it will be the summer solstice.
[nepheu] The what?
[me] The summer solstice.
[nepheu] what does a car have to do with summer?
[me] ?
[nepheu] Yeah, the Pontiac Solstice.
[me] (laughs) You don't know what the Solstice and the Equinox are?
[nepheu] Yeah, their both cars.
And that is the sad state of todays education system.
