Cool feature in GRID only cool for common(ers) folks

As referred to in many of the reviews GRID allows you to select real names from a list and have your crew chief use it to refer to you over the radio. It adds significantly to the immersion.

Close enough

It's a refreshing change to hear your real name in the mid race radio chatter...

Unfortunately, while it is a fairly large selection, many unique and wonderful real names are not included. Boring commoner names like (for example) Christopher and Patrick are all over the place. There is also a substantial list of female names and for those left out, nicknames. I use, appropriately enough, Crash.

Fortunately, for one of our Herd Members, he has not been left totally out in the cold as Victoria is available.
