XBoxless in Arundel
The twitching began several hours ago.
It started with a slight shimmer in the fingers and has progressed to a full shaking of the hands and feet. My eyelids have developed a tick as well.
At first, I was unsure what was causing this. Lack of coffee? Anxiety attack? Hives? None of it made sense.
Then it came to me. For the past two weeks, I have had my XBox with me every day. Some days, it was by my side for endless hours. But today, it is not. It is far away and, like any good narcotic, the addiction only makes itself obvious when one is denied access to the drug. I can't throw grenades, I can't shoot hapless criminal elements from behind cover. I can't snipe, strafe, or frag anyone.

Under your name last night...
Left it running, but couldn't play.
