I found the movement limiting and the maps too small, but it was fun while it lasted. Just not a lot of replay value.
Hopefully this time will be better, but when they start pulling shit like this, it makes me seriously reconsider my purchase. Why would you limit the availability of a map pack through the use of a single-use coupon, unless you were deliberately trying to neuter the game's resale market? If I was a retailer, I'd be rallying an angry mob in the streets right now...
because Gears 1 bored me to all hell. Too easy(played on hard mode, clearly), too repetitive, certainly NOT infused with any bit of awesomeness. Sure it looked good, but graphics didn't help when I beat it in like 5 hours and needed red bulls to keep me awake while doing so.
For a second there you sounded like someone who actually owned an Xbox 360 and might have paid money for a decent game.
Be sure to enjoy Gears on your DS.
I did play in on a 360, albeit not mine. I did also pay money for it, since it was rented. Not much point buying games like that anymore, no replay value.
Gears on the DS, no thanks, I stick to Advance Wars and Megaman.
...brain games because it seems like you need them.
