I want this $200 action figure! Seriously, if you pre-order Gears of War 2 from Future Shop, they're giving away a special edition "Headshot" Locust Drone action figure, valued at $200. Also comes with real metal COG tags.
Best Buy in the USA is reportedly giving away a mini R/C tank, but no word yet what their Canadian counterpart is doing (if anything).
So you can rev your non-moving chainsaw engines all you want, I'll just point at the explicit, gory detail of my ex-drone to remind you of who's boss.

Best Buy is having a little promotion of their own. Apparently if they sell out of the standard edition on the 7th, they'll give you a $20 gift card!
They're also offering a free gears bottle opener and Lancer keychain (limited quantities). And the first 20 people in line will get a card to download a gold-plated Hammerburst Assault Rifle. Also, if you happen to be at the Bay and Dundas store in Toronto, they're giving away one of the $150 life-size model Lancers.

I know there were a lot of warnings about the Best Buy R/C tank floating around. Something along the line of only 5 per store. Not sure about that but it is only available with the limited edition and is a $29 value normally.
Wonder how limited the $200 Future Shop give away is? It is also only with the limited edition.
Although, to be fair. I hope you get it. Which ever one you order....
