Learning from an experienced parent
Although Pebbles may deny Q-Bert's parenting experience, technically, he has been a parent longer than I.
I got to watch in awe as he taught a valuable life lesson to his four year old daughter.
Q-Bert very careful, patiently, and with great skill showed his daughter how to properly hold a shotgun. "One hand here for reloading," and the "other one here under the stock to reach the trigger."
I look forward to tomorrow's lesson, how to re-cock a shotgun single-handedly.

She will be four in December. She needs to know this stuff as she was already within 2 feet of a coyote, in our backyard...
Of course, the coyote was too busy chasing after our cat to be too interested in her, but I digress....
Technically, knowing how to cock and shoot a shotgun to kill a charging coyotee in your backyard, even if it is chassing after the cat, is totally useless if:
1.- She is not carrying a shotgun
2.- She does not have any shells for the said shotgun
3.- You do not OWN a shotgun
Shall we go to the local Wall Mart or Zellers sporting section and pick up a .22 gauge? We can leave it on the back deck on the floar board just above the ground where she can easilly reach it.
I hear flashbang works best on Coyotee's.
