It just doesn't have it

I can't help but agree with this Loot-Ninja column.

The overall online experience felt bland. It was just lacking something. I, personally, thought that the maps were either too congested or extremely over-sized; perks were a little too familiar (except those fucking dogs and the flamethrower, just to name a few); and the game play was a just a slower-paced CoD4.

Call of Duty: World at War just doesn't have it. I can't quantify it exactly but Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had it.

I seems to remember wanting to play Modern Warfare every night. Looking for who was online and joining up with them. World at War? It seems to stay on the shelf. I'm playing Left 4 Dead and Gears of War 2.

Don't get me wrong. I like Call of Duty: World at War's single player campaign, multi-player co-op, and love Zombie Survival mode. But online play? I am around rank 18 right now and I don't see myself getting much higher. Prestige mode? Never going to happen.

I'm not planning on trading it as I usually hang onto my games but play it? Well... Left 4 Dead anyone?

...and yeah, i scream and yell playing it every time... i'm committed to at least "prestiging" once...

i seem to remember a certain someone defending COD5 saying it was actually "better" in the beggining... i've been shitting on it since day 1, but i spent the money - i'll play the game.

..and stormblade didnt "let Hardw00d" anything... I TOOK WHAT I WANTED... :) so catch me if you can "Galeblade" (...see fujita scale...) - you used to be around an F4 but now you are just an F0

I haven't been online for a while now, but will try and get back at 'er tonight...

We could get my 17 year old to help us. He hardly ever plays but he is pretty good when he does. He watches me play and tells me I suck so I tell him to go do his homework or something.
