This is like Second Life without the furries?

I never heard of second life until now so I went to check it out. Man is this what society is coming to?
People meet on there all the time. Some even leave their spouses and travel across the country to be with their "second life" partner after being caught "red-handed".
When real life sucks too much, you just go into some online mmorpg. Before you could escape with a good book or go to a movie, but that requires too much effort. No, escape is a mouse click away.
I'm waiting for the game 1656 a.d. - The Inquisition. I can't wait to get Stormblade on the rack, and stamp his soles with red hot steel implements.
Or better yet, maybe I'll just time him to a chair, and make him listen to Q-Bert talk about the intricacies of the sub-nucleonic kleenux kernel that everyone will have implanted in their brain in the next 20 years.
Looks like they need it.
It would be cool, I'd spend most of my time searching for references.

Red Light Center runs on the Prototerra engine, on multiple UNIX machines. Our database is a very beefy dual 2.4mhz processor server with 4 gigs of ram.

They mean 2.4ghz, since a dual 2.4 megahertz machine doesn't sound that impressive to me.
Some old 386, 486 and Pentium machines. They got Q-Bert to download and compile the necessary Kernels. And drivers.
