Okay, last week was a bit of a bust, but I'm sure this week we'll make up for it. I want to see all you bums who spent your hard earned cash on Saints Row 2 to make an effort to show up tonight!
Although it did before, just that now the glow needs user interaction.
I've been informed that the Flash stuff doesn't show up properly on all systems (moved down, etc.). How does it look on everyone's computer? What browsers are you all using?
as it is the exact same size as the object. Different browsers and versions add a margin to a tag. Try increasing the size of the object slighty, maybe by 10 pixels and see if that helps.

I guess I just don't like games where I am a bad guy. I got to thinking about it after tonight's SR2 session. I don't like killing pedestrians, I don't like taking people's cars and I don't like shooting at the police.
So I thought about games I have not enjoyed and often it has been because of this. The only exception I can think of is Overlord, and even there I always chose to help the peasants instead of killing them.
Blackwalt keeps asking how I could like Crackdown and not SR2 and I realize the difference is in Crackdown, I'm a cop.
I'm going to have to not do a complete stop at a stop sign tomorrow to feel better.
BTW, sorry about the potty mouth. It's been a bad couple of weeks.
I too had no interest in the game whatsoever ("gangsta" stuff bores the crap outta me), until Blackwalt delved into the game details. I'd been Jonesin' for a good sandbox game ever since we finished Crackdown, and GTA4 was a severe letdown in that respect (being a Russian gangsta didn't help). So I was just as surprised as anyone that there was a good (co-op) game under there that didn't take itself seriously at all. The humour is awesome and there is easily enough stuff to do/discover/unlock to keep me busy until Crackdown 2 comes out.
So to anyone else who may have overlooked Saints Row 2, I'd say this one is worth at least a rent. There is a lot of depth here, whether you're doing missions/activities/diversions or just goofing around with a friend. And it's very entertaining the whole time.
Since this has turned into a review...
PLUSES:
- Freedom to focus on whatever aspect of the game appeals to you (racing, discoverables, stunts, ridiculous challenges, strippers, shopping)
- Unlimited saves
- Seamless friend drop-in for co-op play
- Great voice acting (try the Cockney bastard male character)
- Inventive secret achievements (nutshots!)
MINUSES:
- Occasional glitches/crashes
- Not quite as slick as Crackdown
- Vehicles disappear if you turn around

But as this games is, as I feared, actually worse than GTA IV, I'm not sure if I'll be able to take the pain long. At least I only paid $30 for this PoS. That makes it marginally less painful than the GTA experience.
The TM now says "SEGA" and the Nite now blows up.

I don't use IE at work as it is I.E. 6. Sometimes big corporations move very slow like the government.
You've never dealt with the Canadian government. The war of 1812 is still a recent event for them.
Oh, by the way, we won.
In my FF on XP the Nite is cut off at the bottom.

At work on IE6 with an old vesion of flash. Not sure what version is installed.
Isn't IE up to version 8 now? Check what it says when you right-click on the flash.
Goverment moves at a slower speed. We still have some of our workstations With win 2k.
