G.I. Joe - The Movie

I just read the article from teh link, and actually felt my gut tighten when I read this part:

The book is supposedly rife with a few sad puns and bad jokes. Like Marlon Wayans talking about "kung-fu grip." The Joes regularly shout "Yo Joe!" and in one scene, "Go Joe!" But this is an action movie after all, and those moments are actually important, so I don't see that as a negative.

Marlon Wayans?!?!?! It can't be... Gotta check IMDB. Yup. It is. Marlon Wayans from the Wayans brothers. Appeared in every Scary Movie parody. One of the producers / writers / directors of that series I think.

Now don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the Scary Movie series (mmmm Anna Faris) and he was OK in this series. But I can't help but think that he has been cast in the GI Joe movie to do his shtick, and that just seems out of place in what this movie was supposed to be.

I think only Stormblade might get any enjoyment out of this movie (Not that I am poking fun or taking a shot at him, but he is a self admitted bad movie fan, maybe more so than I am. Blackwalt: I am too lazy to search through the history of posts to find his admission, so I will leave that up to you since you seem to have every one of his posts memorized.)
