Empire Interactive has finally brought Flatout Ultimate Carnage to North America. It was previously released in Europe only to strong reviews: Eurogamer at 8/10, Computer and Video Games at 8.9/10, All About Games at 8/10.
And now TeamXbox has a positive 8.8/10 review of the North American version.
Previous Flatout games have been lackluster at best. Is this the one to change our mains? Or, at least until Burnout Paradise comes out?

Forza 2 is the one and only racing game for the Xbox 360. Period.
I suspect its high ratings are due in large part to blatantly copying the Burnout look/feel/menus, but in a more off-road setting. Playing the demo just makes me crave the real thing that much more.
