Please note that the Playstation 3 controllers are completely wireless as is the PS3 Combat Wireless Headset. Mad Catz obviously knows that wireless is a key feature other wise they wouldn't have the word "wireless" in all of the product names. No idea why the Xbox 360 controller is wired but I expect they will blame Microsoft.
