I am mean
It's Gibby's BDay tomorrow and I told her that she would not get her gift in the morning as usual because I didn't get a chance to shop recently, which is true. So I'll need to go shopping tomorrow night for her to get her gift. Q-Bert bought her iPod two months ago...

Seriously, they are pretty good. And cheaper.
But hey, if you like annoying, pretentious, smug, proprietary things then you get stick with the ipod.
And speaking of apple, I went by their store at Rideau lasts week hoping to go on in and have a look. But when I got there I was subjugated to one of the saddest things I've seen in my life. A couple of sparsely populated tables with items like laptops, phones, and ipods.
What a waste of space.
Correct me if I am wrong
But doesn't the zune also have annoying, pretentious, smug, proprietary things
Or did you mean Zen?
I have a 32 gb Zen and I love the fact that I am not tied to any software.
I considered the Zen as well, but in the end I still went with a Zune. It suits all my needs just fine and I am not tied to any software, as I just load a playlist to add songs, but you can drag and drop if you want.
And I got a free AC adapter and arm band with it.
I got turned off of the Zune because someone told me it had a similar thing like iTunes?
If I understand you correctly you are not tied to any software at all with the Zune?
But I don't really use it.
All I do is save a playlist then open the software which automatically syncs it (adds the songs that I want), then I close the program. That's all I need to do.
There is a music "store" like Itunes, but it's not available in Canada anyway.
You would be tied to Media Player or Media Center, whatever they are calling it these days.
iTunes for Windows, no problem, iPod on Windows, no problem.
Find any Mac drivers for the Zune anywhere?
Not to mention that the Zune HD is US only.
Overspends to buy a Mac, you can be sure that they will not try to get a bargain and get a Zune. They will overpay for the iThing. Hmm. I wonder if Apple ever considered to buy Marvel.
That's why the educated buy Macs. You get what you pay for.
I have been supplied with top of the line Dell and Lenovo Piece of Crap notebooks and I would gladly exchange both for a MacBook.
Most games that don't work on a Mac, and almost all other software for that matter. Of course I am not counting the use of VMs.
There is no Zune support for Macs because there is no point.
What else do you need ?
n/t
There are no real games on the PC anyway.
Because you are using a Mac
Something like this would have been better, right ?
Is that? Istore or iTunes servers?
n/t
Have to find her gift. I bought it a couple of weeks ago too (Q-Bert is my witness), but I put it away where I would not loose it.
Now where was that?
you realize that she reads this site, right ?
and off the computer.
Oy. That's another day at home tomorrow then ?
