Heroes: Orientation / Jump, Push, Fall
I am back on the saddle, baby! This 2 hour special should have been called "Redemption", as Tim Krigg obviously felt the heat and did some major plot point tweaks for the coming season.
Overall, a great 2 hours. The only inconsistent item I can see is that I doubt that Claire sleeps with her door unlocked.
I have to give great kudos to the writers for how they have incorporated Sylar in this season. I have been so sick of the Immortal Bad Guy in the past seasons, and have always wanted to see Sylar shot into the sun. Having him as Matt's dark conscience is very well done. I am going to be *pissed* if they "physically" resurrect Sylar next week; I hope they take their sweet time.
Congratulation Tracy, you have joined the Immortals. Apparently you cannot be killed. I hope you don't get annoying about it.
Hiro finding his calling (again) was well implemented. I also like the fact that he is now a ticking bomb. What I hope they send him into the future for many years, where he gets cured and then has to find a sword again to focus his power. The series could use much less Hiro in the present.
I like the carnival group. It makes sense to me. It would be great for the writers to have them fight for something very positive to them, and but very negative to the Bitch. It would be a good spin for the whole season.
Anyone else think that Claire and Gretchen should find 2 boys and a dog, preferably one with a "SD" tag ?
Finally, there's Peter. This character was so "emo" in the past that pretty much everyone here hated his guts. The writers have finally found a good fit for him as the relaxed hero. He now shows he is comfortable as the most powerful mutant of all. I hope they leave him in that slot for quite a few episodes and let the other characters progress, especially HRG, Tracy, Parkman, and the carnival crew.
I enjoyed these episodes.
