They can open a worm hole and keep it open for the max time permissible and transmit the signal of the show through. Once the gate is forced closed, they have to have someone on the other side redial and reopen the gate. They can time it to happen during commercials.
So if they can build it, they can watch it.
Some times I really wonder about you.
Because 38 minutes is hardly enough time for the entire episode! And what if someone else dials in during the down time! We'd miss the crucial ending...
And also: there's a new Stargate series?!!
Yes, there is a new Stargate series! Kind of a SGA meets BSG. Premieres Friday on Space, which means it's not going to be broadcast here in HD. Maybe I'll just wait for the 720p version to appear on BT over the weekend.
