So did the publishers...

When we published this article about the upcoming Star Wars zombie book almost all the comments suggested it be made into a movie.

The publishers of Death Troopers created their own low budget trailer using the 501st Legion’s Empire City Garrison and decided it wouldn't be enough:

All along though, we knew that as cool as our video would be, there were fans out there who had the talent and know how to just blow us away. So why not create a contest in which we asked them to create their own trailers for the book as well? Entrants were given a brief synopsis of the book along with a few items they had to include.

I really enjoyed the one by theNonchalantNod (#1) for its simplicity and suspense, but ended up voting for vehder (#4). That one felt like a movie trailer, whereas the other one was just a teaser. The first one will no doubt be chosen, but credit where credit is due. The amount of work put into #4 is vastly superior.
