Sega Week - Day 8
The Thanksgiving weekend was a blur of turkey and terrorists. Not entirely sure I ate and shot the correct things.
But I did manage to get out of the house long enough to purchase cat food and litter, as the little bastards have taken to chewing on my legs and crapping on the floors in a desperate bid for attention. In the process, discovered that the temperature outside has dropped significantly in the last week. The cobwebs in the lower floors of the house appear to sport a layer of frost in the wee hours of the morning, while the upstairs (where the gaming and sleeping rooms are) remain toasty warm night and day, thanks to my Microsoft Space Heater. I've managed to shave 3 more seconds off each bathroom break by leaving my zipper down and peeing with the door open. The problem now is to remember not to do so when company is visiting. Apparently society is not appreciative of such efficiencies.
Tried some Frontlines: Fuel of War with Graybush and Blackwalt, for a change of scenery. Judging by all the strangers that joined us, I guess "private match" has varying degrees of privacy in different countries. We also discovered that there is no penalty or even barrier for switching to the winning team. Several times per match. I think I know why nobody plays this game now.
Swag was on early last night, so we ended up starting with Battlefield 1943, and finishing with Call of Duty 4 when Hardwood showed up unexpectedly. We had a near perfect record in BF43, too. I blame Graybush's early withdrawal for this.
So once again, I'd like to play something different tonight, but it all depends who's online and what they have. I'd like to get some driving in (Burnout Paradise? GTA4?, as this will likely be the last night of this foolish endeavor. Tomorrow I must shovel the empty pizza boxes and soda cans out of the kitchen in preparation for Mrs Coxxorz's return. Let's make it a good one!
OK math may not be my strong suit, but isn't a week 7 Days?
But this is HoC.
But I always liked this one better...
