At 8:00am, got to WalMart. Talk to the Eletronic department and no Borderlands in stock. Suggest me to ask the manager. Manager told they haven't received any new games, not just Borderlands.
Post it so that people won't just drive to WalMart south keys.

Walmart Richmond-Carling again. No Borderlands in stock but it is on order for Thursday or Friday.
The $39 price is in the flyer as good until Friday.
So if you happen to be near a Walmart in the next couple of days pop in and get us an inventory update.
11:00AM Phone rings
Chinup Girl: Hey, I heading to Best Buy and Futureshop on Merivale at lunch to look for Borderlands, you want me to pick up a copy
Me: Yes, I will check the Best Buy and Futureshop in the east and will let you know as well.
11:30I leave for best buy on Coventry.
11:38 I arrive sold out...grrrrrr....
11:40 head to Futureshop on Blair
11:55 I arrive Sold out
12:00 Phone rings
Chinup Girl: SoL, gonna check walmart Lincoln Fields.
Me: Cool, SoL here too.
Went to Moxies for lunch (of course I planned it this way).
12:35 Leave moxies head back to work
12:43 Email from Fungster stating that he found copies @ FS south keys at NOON! note the time difference. Phones and texts work also!
13:03 I text Fungster "Any copies left"
13:05: Fungster replies yes 11....again gee thanks.
13:10: get back to work call Chinup girl.
Me: Apparently 11 copies @ FS south keys
Chinup Girl: ok will call roomate girl and get her to pick up two copies.
13:20 Chinup girl sends text: roommate girl not answering...grrrr.....
13:30...I start losing hope.
14:00. Chinup girl texts: roommate girl said they are sold out. Told her to check Walmart.
14:20 Walmart sold out.
Is it me or do I smell a conspiracy at work here?
As a side note: I think Fungster88 is pissed at me for not getting him a points card for 15.99 or Batman: Arkham Asylum for $8. Yes lesson learned thanks......jerk....or as you would @$$hoe.
There were none at Walmart on Islington or Walmart at 7/400 also none at the FW at 7/400 so....
surprise I didn't get a copy.
Which is likely a good thing for everyone, since pretty much any game I buy you guys only play for about a week and move on.
So me not getting it means it has less chance of sucking.
12:00 Leave work in a rush to get to South Keys. I works in the East end.
12:15 Arrive South Keys and park between FS and Walmart.
12:18 Instinct tell me to go to FS first. Wow! 2 rows of Borderlands on the shelf (12 copies)
12:20 Pickup 1 copy. Then realize I forgot my cell phone and can't remember Aku's phone number. Oh well, I will tell him and post on HoC once get back work
12:35 Get back to work.
12:41 Post here about the 11 copies at FS and sent an email to Aku that I got one.
~12:55 Aku text me and ask me about how many copy left. Huh??
12:59 Text back "11 copies. FS".
Beside posting on HoC (for everyone), sending email, answering text msg, what else should I do?
May be "Don't worry Aku, I will leave work NOW to get you one of the 11 copies. Then wrap it up and deliver to your house after work!!".
If I recall correctly, I didn't even get a txt msg about the XBL 2800 points cards when you saw 3. Note: I know it was a price match deal.
I will call this "coincidence".
Seems to me 11 would just about cover everybody here. Too bad, you could have been the new Coxxorz!

Only having 20 copies
None at 8 AM. Got 4 copies before 10:30. All gone. Said to try again later.
Merivale Future Shop and Best Buy sold out. Best Buy says they only got 20. copies.
11 copies around 12:15pm (FS). Still none at Walmart South keys.
Make you wonder. Did Walmart trick Future Shop and Best Buy to drop price? Then distribute minium quantities or delay delivery to each store.
And yes, I think that's exactly what they're doing. And EB must have known this, which is why they didn't bother matching the price.
Stayed at the $69.99 price point.

Carlingwood had 3 left at 1:45. Got their pre-orders and 4 spare copies.
So seems to be a shortage everywhere.
