Best Buy "Price Match Guarantee" a Fraud ?
Seems our southern neighbours are sick of Best Buy's crooked price match policy. Do you think the problem exists in Canada ?

Future Shop/Best Buy already got busted here for the fake internal website scam, but that's only part of the problem. Their stores will frequently refuse a valid price match with other retailers by making up excuses on the spot. Some of my favourites:
1) "Product is not in stock at competitor". Lazy cashier only checked website of nearest store.
2) "Dell.ca is not a physical store". Perhaps not, but it's one of several sites on your head office's list of approved "competitors".
3) "Competitor price is a limited time offer". Yes, that's what we call a "sale".
There's too many more to list here, but for the most part, they are pretty good about matching prices. I just happen to do it a lot, so have amassed quite a collection of their shenanigans.
