Since I couldn't hack the EA servers to let me get into a fucking game of BF43 tonight, I thought this would be the next best thing.
Best Buy is now taking pre-orders of Modern Warfare 2 for both Xbox 360 and some other system for $59.99 (with free shipping). But for a limited time only, the price will have $10 taken off when you add it to the cart. Unlike Failure Shop, Best Buy has some decent stock to back them up, as the total quantity remaining currently sits at 1488.
So while the supply may last more than a day, there's no telling when they'll notice the little bug I placed in the system. Order now!

I also pre-ordered it in store at Failure shop (I like this)
So, I will do the old swaperoo thing if I don't get my online order on time.
However, here is a question: Does anyone know if the SKU numbers differ from store to store?
Example: Costco has different bar codes than other stores. Admittedly Costco is a special store. But I am curious to know if they different between the other big players?
For games the code is printed on the sleeve, under the case plastic. Costco sometimes prints their own sku and sticks it over the manufacturer one. You could easily return a Future Shop game to Best Buy, if that's what you're asking.
At 9:00am, the main bestbuy.ca site is fine, but any link to their ssl server is given me Internal Server Error.
Damn it! I was ordering it (clicking on "submit" or "order").
Also none last night (got one as a backup to my Future Shop backup). Better get it sorted out. Only 1147 copies left!!!
Successfully and got the confirmation emails etc.
But I can not get into the site at the moment.
