As an art piece it was well done. However, it was mostly just a bunch of mindless rhetoric. He's "loosing his grip on reality?", yeah sure...*rolleyes*
"Play enough video games and you will really believe that you can snowboard{...etc]". If only video game experiences were that vicarious, but anyone who believes that is an idiot, or plays too much Rock Band. However, I don't deny that some games (usually dubbed 'serious games') can help people with real-life skills (for example, Microsoft Flight Simulator or Nuclear Reactor training).
And I am not addicted to video games...not yet at least.
Also, I prefer dev diaries, those are more useful for me.

Considering that I expected *you* out of all people to have a long opinion about this, since it pretty much parallels your life and what you want to do with your life...
