Red vs. Blue, the Herd of Cats way – by accident.
Last night with a two man Halo 3 party of Coxxorz and myself we got separated by the automatic matchmaking. We didn't realize it immediately but entered into the 8 vs 8 Team Slayer on opposite teams. Coxxorz Blue, Blackwalt Red.
Coxxorz played as a laser whore while Blackwalt played the usual HoC strategy of running around aimlessly killing stuff – usually on the opposite team. Mostly.
We finished the map (Valhalla) with a Red win. Blackwalt led the Red team with 23 kills and Coxxorz was second on the Blue team with 18. Evidence that the other 14 players weren't that good.
On to the stats: Coxxorz had medals galore with 7 individual types leading with 4 laser kills and a sniper head shot. Blackwalt had 3 individual medals leading with 7 beat downs (sadly, Coxxorz was only one of these).
And while we didn't actively search out each other, we did notice when the other showed up nearby.
I got one gift kill where I took Coxxorz down with a single bullet from the pansy default MA5C Assault Rifle as I swept it across him just as he finished a battle with two opposing players.
Coxxorz got one gift kill as the driver of the Warthog I was in refused to DRIVE despite the number of times I and a fellow passenger yelled at him to get moving. Laser for a triple kill! Woot! For Coxxorz! Dammit!
I did get in one tea bag on Coxxorz but it wasn't for one of my own kills. I know there are Kill Stealers. Last night I was a Teabag Stealer. Well, if the original killer wasn't going to take it...
Most killed player:
Blackwalt killed by Coxxorz, 3 times.
Coxxorz killed by Blackwalt, 4 times.
Woot, RED TEAM WINS!!!!

It's hard to stay motivated in a game where an HoC member is the best player on your team. At least the thought of revenge tea-bagging was incentive enough to keep playing...
