Xbox Live Update today
From the MS press release:
- Unlock a world of friends, entertainment and games from the comfort of your couch, displayed on the best screen in the house, using Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE. Tomorrow, Xbox LIVE members around the world will have their Xbox 360 console transformed and plugged into the best value in home entertainment, with access to Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm and Zune video with instant-on HD, all right in their living rooms.
Note to Microsoft, How about something to do with gaming? You know... for your game console?

Just give me a game where I can beat the living snot out of people's avatars already.
(unless you have a chat pad, but even then), why would I want to update facebook from there? Thankfully I don't have twitter, so I don't need to worry about that.
However, the Last.fm feature might be interesting for some games where you just want random music. I am not sure how this works exactly on the xbox, so I'll have to wait and see.

You think they wil actually implement THAT ?
Seriously, you will be lucky if this shit does anything else than send to Last.fm the fact that you are listening to "Halo 3 - Track 4 - Join XBOX LIVE! NOW!"
Seems like it will.
Although I just read the fine print and it's not available in Canada anyway. Big surprise.
