Just found out our daily lifestyle is called "quarantine"

While I agree about the Blew Ray format, I still strongly disagree about fixed media in general. I doubt people will stand for not being able to buy movies.
As for GPS's becoming extinct, companies like Garmin have only screwed themselves by releasing 50 new models per year with a baffling array of features, but none with the combination you need. They should just die.
I buy all of my movies on iTunes. I own them, I play them through my TV and I don't have to have a disk to do it. I carry a 500gb hard drive around with me that contains most of my movies and I can watch them whenever I want. How is this not better than having disks??
Sell me one of your movies.
But this is a non-issue for me as I never resell my movies or games, nor do I trade them in. Although I do find it more satisfying to smash terrible ones (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, GTA IV) into little bits and stomp on them before throwing them in the garbage than just doing a simple 'Delete'.
You forgot microwave and BBQ.
I you really want to be thourough, 1 pass through a cross cut shredder, microwave to make the pile sparkle, then cook over the BBQ to melt the pieces into an abstract piece of art to properly represent the crapiness of the product.
A bust of stormblade.
I should have said "own" instead of "buy". People will eventually lay down and take it from the IP Nazis, but it will be a slow erosion of rights over the course of the next dozen years. It's much the same with "homeland security" and the loss of personal freedoms that go with it. I give it one generation before we're forced to carry identification papers at all times. Oh wait...
