2009 Pintsie's – Blackwalt's Pick for HoC Original Content of the Year
There was a huge amount of original content this past year and I had a selection of nine stories in my favourites. It took some work to narrow it down to three choices.
I was also surprised at the number of contributors involved.
The Periodic Table won it for me due to the amount of work involved as well as the number of hits it pulled into the site.
Honourable Mentions:

1. The PWN-o-Matic™ - whatever happened to the guy that made those?
2. The What Would Stormblade Pick game - our best official HoC game ever!
3. Swag at the MIGS - real journalism on a news site. Picked for irony.
Stormblade's pick – while a touching and important news item – doesn't really count as "original content" in my book.
Is of course my Special Report at MIGS!
Honorable mentions:
1. Some story by Aku (any one really)
2. I'll also go with the (PWN-O-MATIC)
My Pics
1) All Half Pint Posts (RIP Buddy)
2) Swag's MIGS thingy
3) Everything by me haha since it appears that Blackwalt is biased (oh was that out loud)
This was my story of the year.
The periodic table is a distant second. And I won't even begin with where I think Swag's thing should go.
Thanks for making me cry at the office. *sniff*
Yes, the passing of a founding member and official mascott shoul be recognized.
1st choice: the Half-Pint stories (both the funny and the sad ones)
2nd: Coxxorz "Sega Week: day8 post". My most memorable laugh-out-loud moment was reading his line "I've managed to shave 3 more seconds off each bathroom break by leaving my zipper down and peeing with the door open".
3rd: Anything and everything zombie related
1- The Games Periodic Table: because it brought a boatload of traffic and a lot of viewers stuck around, according to Google Stats.
2- Swag's Special Report: because it is our first on-location journalistic report. Can't poo-poo on that.
