They got Call of Duty in my Ghost Recon
Coxxorz said it first but all I could think about as I was playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was "this looks familiar?"
I was trying to tie it into a PC game. The graphics, colour palette, and textures just seemed like constant Deja Vu.
It was pointed out that it looked like Ghost Recon and he was right,
But this is no stealth shooter. Not in multi player. Its a high speed, full on speeding around and gunning for the enemy.
When Cozzorz and I joined into live multi player we entered into match and everyone tore off like rats from a sinking ship. A far cry from the pace of Ghost Recon.
And for the record, Coxxorz still can not throw a grenade upward and through a window. Fortunately the only casualty this time was himself.

I hope the throw grenade button does not conflict with the crouch button of another game?
Yes it does.
For the record, grenade is Right Bumper, as in previous incarnations of CoD. But they've added a "Special Grenade" to the left bumper.
Neither of which should be confused with Crouch, which is, in fact, the B button. And as pointed out to Blackwalt last night, to go prone simply "crouch harder".
Although the game looks like someone reskinned Call of Duty as Ghost Recon, it definitely plays like a twitch FPS. And though I feel the urge to stick to cover when skulking around, I found myself reverting to Halo reflexes in a firefight. This of course has hilarious consequences.
Zoom is for some reason located on the left thumbstick, not the right where you would expect it to be. That spot is reserved for a lightning-quick melee attack, which appears to be the Predator Razor Disc, but it's hard to tell since it goes by so fast. In hand-to-hand combat, Halo fans will also find themselves crouching (like the Tiger), not hitting (like the Dragon) when instinctively going for the "B" button.
More evidence of this visual brainwashing comes when you accidently discover you can jump.
